ELOPEMENT
With cities all over the country severely limiting the ability of engaged couples to plan a big party, courthouses saw an unprecedented uptick in couples exchanging vows in their chambers in lieu of the more traditional wedding venues. With very few witnesses allowed in, photographers became the seeing eyes responsible for delivering the visual moments to the loved ones who couldn't be there.
This Chicago Elopement with Hannah and Blaine started at the Waldorf-Astoria downtown, brought us to the courthouse, some parks, through some alleys, and then back to where it all started. It was a quiet, chilly, powerful experience that I feel lucky to have been a part of. And blasting champagne all over the place wasn't bad, either.
