Kenosha Engagement with J+A

Every once in a while I get pulled away from the greater Milwaukee area to do an engagement shoot.  It’s always a welcome challenge to step into an environment that I’m not familiar with and see what kind of inspiration strikes based on the new location.  For my first engagement shoot in Kenosha, Jacqueline and Zak brought me to their very first date spot, The Birchwood Grill.  The staff were super accommodating, and even better than that, were excited for us to be taking photos in and around their establishment.  The Reuben was also 10/10.

I always encourage the couples I work with to focus their energy on one another (as best as they can) and let me worry about how things look through the lens.  These two did an incredible job with that suggestion, and it resulted in some really fun winter engagement photos in a totally new location.

All photos were taken with either a Canon R5 and RF50mm 1.2 or the small and mighty Fujifilm X100V and edited with my own presets.
