Milwaukee Wedding - Filament

It was clear from the beginning that Caitie and Sam had a knack for nailing the Fall aesthetic when they asked if we could do their engagement shoot at a beautiful little Fall spot in Waupaca, WI last year.  Their main event was a continuation on that theme, and they invited me to photograph their Milwaukee wedding at a gorgeous Milwaukee venue, Filament.  Run by Two Birds Event Group, Filament sits on the edge of downtown Milwaukee in a moody and modern space perfect for a cozy wedding.

We had trains, we had weather, we even had ice cream from the Milwaukee icon Purple Door; everything we needed. As a Milwaukee Wedding Photographer, I continue to be blown away by each wedding day delivering in its own unique way.  And this particular location is a photographer’s dream, as there is no shortage of that unique Milwaukee architecture, cream city brick (great for bouncing beautiful light onto newlywed couples), the river, and city lights.  It’s easy to get creative here.
